New Class / New Time Starting October 6th Hot 26/2 with Music @ 6:45am

Join Emily for a New Class at a New Time:

Our Early morning Hot 26/2 with Music classes are now starting even earlier AND we are adding a 3rd morning to the schedule! Starting Oct 6th join us at 6:45am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays!

This class is a moving meditation set to calming music but there is no verbal instruction, so you must be familiar with the Hot 26/2 sequence to get the most out of this class.

This class is the Original Hot Yoga Class created by Bikram Choudhury shortened to 60 minutes! This class features 26 beginning level yoga postures and 2 breathing exercizes practiced (mostly) two times each in a set sequence designed to heal your body, free your mind and over time transform your life. This proven sequence works! The system uses activation, calm breathing, alignment adjustments then relaxation to bring you back to a state of physical and mental balance.

You work every bone, joint, ligament, tendon and all of your muscles and deliver fresh, nutrient-rich, oxygenated blood to flush toxins out. You will also work all the systems in your body… your internal organs, cardiovascular system, endocrine system, digestive system, nervous systems and the mind/body connection. It's also great for relieving back pain and strengthening core muscles or for those working through injuries. Through repeating the same sequence, you learn how your body responds to the postures, deepening your knowledge of your capabilities and limits both in terms of strength and flexibility. By practicing stillness between postures, you learn to calm your mind and body through deep breathing. We heat the room to 105 degrees with 40-50% humidity as prescribed by both Bikram and the OHYA standards.

This class is excellent for beginners through advanced practitioners as long as clients are familiar with the Hot 26/2 sequence.  Benefits of the class are many including improved flexibility, endurance and strength as well as reducing depression and anxiety and improving overall well-being. This class will challenge you, but have fun, it’s sure to make you feel energized, revitalized and refreshed. And since it’s a shortened version, it will also save you time with your busy schedule.
